My daughter loves Jeeps and drives one to work every day. I was with them over Easter and got to dress up and attend Easter service. They are active in a small country church, and when I stay with them I enjoy attending and listening to the excellent sermons preached by their very conscientious minister/truck driver. This year she is adding strawberries and corn. The 5 acres is like a ranch in progress as they constantly add to it with flowers and different vegetables. My son-in-law is on disability because of a heart condition and is home most of the day when he isn't running errands. My daughter also has a vegetable garden and I help her with some of the easy chores, like planting the seeds in containers and keeping them watered.

The tree full of white flowers is beautiful and the fragrance is amazing. Just outside the front door of this ranch house is a 20-foot trunk of an old dead tree that is covered with jasmine just now just beginning to bloom. My daughter works for a veterinarian and has two lovely dogs of her own that like to play catch with me.
There is a swing in the middle of the acreage where I walk to for my exercise and to sit in the sun. This house is on 5 country acres of grass and trees and flowers. I also enjoy an occasional visit with my two great-granddaughters. If I feel like getting a little sun I sit out on the patio sometimes with a book or with a friend to pass the time. When they take me on an outing in the boat they transport me to the boat in a go-cart so I don't have to walk across that rough ground. Is there such a thing: Glamorous camping?

On the bay is a boathouse with a pontoon boat used for family excursions when the time and weather permits. The back of the house is a large expanse of green interrupted by a swimming pool. During this pandemic I have pretty much stayed here surrounded by my family. The front of the house is a portico with several rocking chairs where I can sit in the shade and read or watch the world go by. The room contains many of my treasured possessions, four of my favorite dolls and many of my books and pictures. The home belongs to my youngest son and his wife, and they have given me full sway over a large bedroom with an adjoining bath. They brought me here from the hospital after I had my heart episode.
A large comfortable home on a bay off one of Lake County's beautiful lakes is where I presently make my home.
